Duration 1 Hour

Did you know different types of electrical system diagrams are used to show large portions of an electrical system down to a single structure or even a portion of a structure?

The purpose of this course is to teach the basic kinds of information that can be obtained from various types of electrical system diagrams: one-line diagrams, plan-profile diagrams, framing diagrams, and GIS technology. The course shows how these diagrams are read and interpreted and how information can be used to complete an assignment.

This interactive online course will show participants what information is typically found on one-line, plan profile, framing diagrams, and GIS applications. They should also be able to interpret diagrams to determine the location of a job site and then plan the best route to the site. In addition, participants should be able to use a framing diagram to determine what materials should be present at a work site and in what quantities.
