Despite many of its desired unique properties in commercial and industrial uses, it has been determined that sustained exposure to elevated concentrations of airborne asbestos can lead to serious and potentially fatal health conditions. Some of these conditions can take 20 years or more to develop, therefore early detection and avoidance of asbestos is vital.
